Delicious Black Bean Burritos

Ingredients 2 (10 inch) flour tortillas 2 tablespoons vegetable oil 1 small onion, chopped 1/2 red bell pepper, chopped 1 teaspoon minced garlic 1 (15 ounce) can black beans, rinsed and drained 1 teaspoon minced jalapeno peppers 3 ounces cream cheese 1/2 teaspoon salt 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro Directions Wrap tortillas in foil and place in oven heated to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Bake for 15 minutes or until heated through. Heat oil in a 10-inch skillet over medium heat. Place onion, bell pepper, garlic and jalapenos in skillet, cook for 2 minutes stirring occasionally. Pour beans into skillet, cook 3 minutes stirring. Cut cream cheese into cubes and add to skillet with salt. Cook for 2 minutes stirring occasionally. Stir cilantro into mixture. Spoon mixture evenly down center of warmed tortilla and roll tortillas up. Serve immediately. |

Boy do these look good, thank you so much for providing them to us. Just wondering, the name cilantro sounds familiar, but what is it, I haven't heard about it, so may you please let me know exactly what it is. Also can we not use the peppers and will it still work because I don't like peppers, I think their too spicy sweet or not, so would that work? Please answer ASAP. Thanks!

Cilantro rings a bell in my head too but I'm not 100% sure so I won't reply. I recommend using a little bit of pepper for flavor and that really works well. Thanks for the great recipee, looking forward to more.

Really looking good! I'm not 100% sure what Cilantro is so I'll leave that for someone else to answer. I recommend the pepper too, so don't skip out on it-

Cilantro is a delicious leafy herb. Tastes lemony. Looks similar to flat leaf parsley. Wonderful in Mexican foods, chicken dishes, guacamole, salads......very versatile!
