To assemble, in the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish evenly spread 3/4 cup of the sauce mixture. Cover with 3 uncooked lasagna noodles, 1 3/4 cup of the cheese mixture, and 1/4 cup sauce. Repeat layers twice. Top with 3 noodles, remaining sauce, remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. Add 1/2 cup water to the edges of the pan. Cover with aluminum foil. Thanks for your two recipee's. These really look good and I think they can help! I have a few questions. Can I remove the ground black pepper because I don't like pepper. Also why all the different types of cheese?

Hopefully you'll make an easy lasagna 3 -
. Alison you can remove the pepper if you want but the flavor will decrease, and a little pepper isn't that bad. Using many types of cheese adds flavor and "character" to the food.

Thank you for the easy lasagna, I'm a big fan of lasagna and this is a nice new way to make it. Agreed Hanny, the pepper will decrease the flavor a lot so I highly recommend using it even if its just a pinch. Best of luck!
